Seven Springs Uphill Access: Which Route, Pass, and Start Time Apply?

JustSkiing TeamJuly 14, 20262 min read

Seven Springs allows uphill travel only under its posted policy. The ascent route, turnaround deadline and descent all belong in the plan; an uphill pass does not make every trail available.

The policy currently displayed

RequirementPublished rule
PassA season pass is required.
StartTwo hours before slopes open.
Summit deadline09:00 weekdays; 08:00 weekends. Turn around if you will not reach it by then.
AscentVillage Trail, Village Trail Bypass and Boomerang.
EquipmentSkins/cross-country skis; snowshoes are not permitted.

Choose the descent before climbing

The resort lists Village Trail, Village Trail Bypass, Boomerang, Goosebumps and Avalanche as descent options. They do not all imply the same difficulty. Pick a permitted descent suited to your skiing and today’s conditions before starting; reaching the summit does not resolve that choice. North Face uphill access is excluded by the policy.

Prepare for operations around you

  • Check the day’s opening time, restrictions and uphill permission with the resort.
  • Park in resort parking and check in at the Avalanche-base patrol location as directed.
  • Use a headlamp and reflective clothing in low light or fog. Pets are not permitted.
  • Stay away from grooming equipment and winch operations. Rescue services are not available outside lift operating hours under the posted policy.
